While the research, data collections and presentations were time consuming the results were rewarding. I believe too that I can help property tax payers keep money in their pockets as well. I have an 89% success rate between 2011 and 2012.
The process consist of me or one of my residential analysts spending at least one hour researching your home to obtain basic history on your home. We don’t ask for any personal information such as social security numbers, tax returns, credit report or scores or source of income.
Once we obtain the data gathering or additional data research is done outside the home and at my office. After the information gathered it is presented to the Detroit City Assessor for their decision. If the result is unchanged, I will proceed to appeal to the Board of Review and if need be the Michigan Tax Tribunal. Our rates are based on the following State Equalization Value:

$100,000.00 or < ................................................. $495.00
$100,000.01 - $500,000.00 .............................. $570.00
$500,000.01 or > ................................................. $695.00
NOTE: Additional $25.00 will be charged for each additional adjourning parcel you own that you are appealing.
